Twee ‘artiesten’ hebben een liedje gemaakt,
dat hierbij even wordt afgekraakt.

Naast het solliciteren ben ik de afgelopen week erg druk geweest met het verhuizen van onze sites naar een nieuwe server. Onze provider is overgestapt van virtualizatie techniek waardoor deze verhuizing nodig was. Een mooie tijd om gelijk wat andere zaken aan te pakken en nieuwe versies van software weg te zetten. Alles lijkt te werken, dus de verhuizing is compleet.

Last week we return to the Netherlands after a 15 month trip around the world. What a change from the oncoming summer of New Zealand to the cold and dark winter here. And there are so many people and they all speak Dutch.

In the coming weeks I plan to update my JRemoteFS framework. Put it in a Maven project and make it available through a Maven repository and add some Spring components.
I’m also going to work in the Flex-Mojos project again. Add more examples and documentation and finish the AIR components so you can build an AIR application direct from your project.
My (previous) employer is creating iPhone applications. I will also have a look at Objective-C and see if I can create a simple iPhone application.

Next to finding a new home and a new job this will keep me busy for the next month.

Finally I more or less finished my new site. Unlike the old one which ran under Confluence, this site is running in Wordpress. I learned about Wordpress via my girlfriend and I really started to like it even though it’s a PHP application and not Java.

Since I wanted to change my site more into a blog anyway, I decided to install Wordpress on our sites too. Now both our main site www.claroquesi.info and this site are running Wordpress.

I have been working a lot with Adobe Flex lately and we ran into many issues. Most of them Flex Data Services (FDS) related. It seemed we were using FDS in a way Adobe hadn’t thought of yet. I’ll post these issues here soon. Meanwhile I posted some blogs I posted in my blog on my company wiki. Hope it’s usefull for someone.
